Have you ever listened to the full speech given by Martin Luther King? I actually never had until a friend of mine posted it on his blog. I watched it and couldn’t help but appreciate the times and the turmoil that was Martin Luther King’s life. Whether you espouse all he was or not, this moment was a great significance in our history. I would encourage you to take a few minutes, maybe with your kids, and watch the speech. Aside from the content, I so appreciate the presence of this man and his complete captivation of the audience and, from what I understand, the nation.
It also made me wonder what I would write if I wrote a speech about my “dream” in life. What would your dream be? Would you embrace it with as much passion and conviction as MLK?
